Covid shot Feb. 3,2021 Moderna Keep in mind I did not put all the pieces together until a month later. Very important to note my hands are very strong, like vise grips, so to wake up not being able to make a fist was very difficult, not to mention not being able to pull up my underwear. Feb 4,5,6,7 Redness on Left arm, no real aches or pains. Continued to work, wasn?t feeling so good, legs very tired. Left work early 2/11 and 12. Was out 2/18 left 1hr. early 2/19 Feb 18th went to see DR. complaining of muscle weakness and aches in my hands and legs. Stiffness in hands I thought was because of walking with the cane. Then left hand started hurting. Strangely keep burping for no reason. Noticed my pelvic floor are weak. Just standing up and my bladder starts to leak. Frustrating.. I am dealing with Lymphedema in legs and bad knees, so all these aches and pains are common. Took the week of 2/22 to 2/26 off of work to relax, hoping to recover. Things got a little better when I got back in pool therapy. Went to see Ortho DR 2/24 he drained 65ml of fluid out of the left knee, and 45ml out of right knee. Got a Gel One injection both knees. No help. Went to see Ortho Dr. , who informed me that all has been done to help, time to replace knee. Feb. 27,28, Feeling better, started questioning Covid shot side effects after seeing an article on TV. Thursday 3/4 Dr did not think my aches and pains were from the shot. So Only way to know for sure was to have second shot, March 6TH. 2nd shot March 6th All went well, redness on left arm Sunday. However Sunday night got the chills, then woke up sweating. Hands to the elbows stiff and could not touch the top of my head. Every muscle and joint aches. Knees and feet all swollen. Pain on right side of neck. Takes me over an hour to stretch and bend just to get out of bed. My feet are elevated all night. Lower them to stretch. Sometimes legs feel like their on fire?? 3/8 Monday aches and pains. Tuesday Major stiffness felt like passing out in the shower, went to the Pool. Therapist had me keep arms lowered in the water flexing and stretching to get fluid to move. Felt a little better, but weak. Still burping for no reason. Still pain on right side of neck. Tuesday and Wednesday night same thing happened, chills then sweating. Thursday in the pool was tough. Chills and sweating again at night. Major stiffness Friday, Sat and Sunday mornings. All day burping and hands very stiff/cold. Used heating pad to loosen up hands. 3/15 Monday morning woken up with chills again, hands so stiff and legs throbbing, having a difficult time getting out of bed. Went to take a shower, thought I was going to pass out. Pain on left side of neck. Stiffness elbows to finger tips. 3/16 and 3/18 pool therapy giving some relief with stiffness in hands and legs. 3/19 to 3/22 woke up with stiffness in hands to elbows. Left arm where the injection shot was given felt like someone was snapping an elastic on my arm every couple of minutes. Finally got it to go away by putting heating pad on it every morning. I also put heat on stiff hands, that seems to work a little. But the burping still won?t stop, my stomach just keeps rolling no matter what I eat or drink. On days that I did not have pool therapy it would take 3 to 6 hrs to get hands to loosen up using heating pad. 3/23 went to pool therapy, had a tough time walking in/out. Legs feel like they can?t hold me up. Therapist had me work out again, trying to move the fluid out of my legs and arms/hands. By the time I got home hands were cold and stiff, feet feel tingly.. 3/23 Called primary care to discuss fluid in hands and legs, got the OK from both Dr?s to take fluid pill and also a Prednisone (4 days only) to flush my system. 3/24 to 3/26 still getting the chills and stiffness in hands, not a bad, finally going away?? Hopefully. 3/26 to 3/29 hands are finally loosening up, not as much stiffness, only takes couple of hrs. of get hands to function. This has been a very difficult recovery.. April 5th had my knee replaced, what ever medicine they gave me, my hands were not swollen at all 3 days then I went to Rehab and the swelling started all over again. Today is May 6th and the hands are still cold and slightly stiff. The stomach is still burping. Pelvic floor getting better. Only asking if you heard of this and if you have a cure? Need my blood to Test? Would like to have my life back to normal. Thank you,
