Symptomtext

Received the injection at 10:30 on Friday morning 2/5/21.. I started a regimen of ibuprofen 800mg alternating with Tylenol 1000mg afterwards. I began with a fever of 101.2 at 1:00 am on 2/6/21. Began having severe chills, shaking, and nausea despite taking ibuprofen 800mg alternating with Tylenol 1000 mg. At 5:30 am I had a temperature of 102.4 with sweats and continued body aches, shaking, and nausea. During the day of 2/6/21 my Temperature stayed just around 100.6 and I had body aches and fatigue. During the night my fever went up again to 101.6. On 2/7/21 I have not had fever, however, I have a red raised area where the vaccine was given. I also have a red lacy rash on my neck, chest, arms, stomach, and back. The rash is prickly and itches. It worsened when I got into a warm shower.

severe arm pain; Tiredness; no energy; fever; chills; body aches; joint aches (hip and neck); not sleeping at night; arm swelled up; Headache; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of HEADACHE (Headache), INSOMNIA (not sleeping at night), PYREXIA (fever), CHILLS (chills) and PAIN (body aches) in a 62-year-old female patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (batch no. MOD 011J20A) for COVID-19 vaccination. The occurrence of additional non-serious events is detailed below. Concomitant products included COLECALCIFEROL (VIT D [COLECALCIFEROL]), LISINOPRIL and MONTELUKAST SODIUM (SINGULAIR) for an unknown indication. On 14-Jan-2021 at 4:00 AM, the patient received first dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) 1 dosage form. On 14-Jan-2012, the patient experienced HEADACHE (Headache). On 15-Jan-2021, the patient experienced INSOMNIA (not sleeping at night). In January 2021, the patient experienced SWELLING (arm swelled up). On 16-Jan-2021, the patient experienced PYREXIA (fever), CHILLS (chills), PAIN (body aches), ARTHRALGIA (joint aches (hip and neck)) and ASTHENIA (no energy). On 22-Jan-2021, the patient experienced PAIN IN EXTREMITY (severe arm pain) and FATIGUE (Tiredness). The patient was treated with IBUPROFEN for Adverse event, at a dose of UNK dosage form. On 15-Jan-2021, HEADACHE (Headache) outcome was unknown. At the time of the report, INSOMNIA (not sleeping at night), PYREXIA (fever), CHILLS (chills), PAIN (body aches), ARTHRALGIA (joint aches (hip and neck)), SWELLING (arm swelled up), PAIN IN EXTREMITY (severe arm pain), ASTHENIA (no energy) and FATIGUE (Tiredness) outcome was unknown. DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS (normal ranges are provided in parenthesis if available): On 16-Jan-2021, Body temperature: 100.3 (Inconclusive) 100.3F. The action taken with mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) was unknown. For mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular), the reporter did not provide any causality assessments.

Her arm has developed a hot, swollen, red area where the injection was given. It started as a knot 3 days ago and has become worse over the last few days. She has called her PCP so that they can follow up on this. She is planning on getting an appointment with her PCP

Lip swelling

Symptomtext

Lower lip swollen slightly the evening of the vaccination and remained the same until the morning of Saturday, January 16, when it was twice as swollen and firm to the touch. In the early afternoon, swelling has reduced by 25%. There is no problem with breathing, eating, speaking, numbness or itching.
