Nine days after receiving the Moderna shot, I woke up on 2-21-2021 with my arm itching like a hundred mosquito bites. As the day progressed, a large red circular rash appeared and the area was hot to the touch. The tissue beneath the red area felt firm, like a large disc-shaped lump. These symptoms continued for over a week, but gradually subsided. Today, on March 1, 2021, the area looks much better. Most of the redness is gone, but there is still itching at times, and the skin appears bruised. I applied anti-itch lotion, ice, and warm showers.
