Diarrhea; Had queasiness and nausea; Throwing up; Really bad nausea; Stomach was bothering him; Loose stool several hours later; Felt super tired, on and off sleeping all day; Felt super tired, on and off sleeping all day; Sore arm; This spontaneous case was reported by a nurse and describes the occurrence of PAIN IN EXTREMITY (Sore arm), SOMNOLENCE (Felt super tired, on and off sleeping all day), ABDOMINAL DISCOMFORT (Stomach was bothering him), DIARRHOEA (Loose stool several hours later) and DIARRHOEA (Diarrhea) in a 65-year-old male patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (batch no. 1012A21A) for COVID-19 vaccination. The occurrence of additional non-serious events is detailed below. The patient's past medical history included COVID-19 on 21-Jan-2021 and Colonoscopy on 24-Jan-2021. On 27-Feb-2021, the patient received first dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) 1 dosage form. On 27-Feb-2021, the patient experienced PAIN IN EXTREMITY (Sore arm). On 28-Feb-2021, the patient experienced SOMNOLENCE (Felt super tired, on and off sleeping all day) and FATIGUE (Felt super tired, on and off sleeping all day). On 01-Mar-2021, the patient experienced ABDOMINAL DISCOMFORT (Stomach was bothering him), DIARRHOEA (Loose stool several hours later), NAUSEA (Really bad nausea) and VOMITING (Throwing up). On 10-Mar-2021, the patient experienced DIARRHOEA (Diarrhea) and NAUSEA (Had queasiness and nausea). The patient was treated with ONDANSETRON (ZOFRAN [ONDANSETRON]) for Nausea, at an unspecified dose and frequency. On 02-Mar-2021, DIARRHOEA (Loose stool several hours later), NAUSEA (Really bad nausea) and VOMITING (Throwing up) had resolved. At the time of the report, PAIN IN EXTREMITY (Sore arm), DIARRHOEA (Diarrhea) and FATIGUE (Felt super tired, on and off sleeping all day) outcome was unknown and SOMNOLENCE (Felt super tired, on and off sleeping all day), ABDOMINAL DISCOMFORT (Stomach was bothering him) and NAUSEA (Had queasiness and nausea) was resolving. The action taken with mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) was unknown. For mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular), the reporter did not provide any causality assessments. No concomitant medications were reported.
