Symptomtext

Severe pain in both shoulders affecting mobility. Diagnosed initially as bilateral shoulder bursitis, but following an MRI, impingement syndrome, tendinosis and joint arthrosis was also diagnosed. This condition has continued for five months and I have been treated with cortisone injections and continuing physical therapy.

arm feels funny some of the time; fatigue; pain at injection site; numbness and tingling in her left arm and left hand; numbness and tingling in her left arm and left hand; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of HYPOAESTHESIA (numbness and tingling in her left arm and left hand), PARAESTHESIA (numbness and tingling in her left arm and left hand), LIMB DISCOMFORT (arm feels funny some of the time), FATIGUE (fatigue) and VACCINATION SITE PAIN (pain at injection site) in a 73-year-old female patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (batch no. 0022M20A) for COVID-19 vaccination. No Medical History information was reported. On 02-Mar-2021, the patient received first dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) 1 dosage form. On 02-Mar-2021, the patient experienced HYPOAESTHESIA (numbness and tingling in her left arm and left hand), PARAESTHESIA (numbness and tingling in her left arm and left hand), FATIGUE (fatigue) and VACCINATION SITE PAIN (pain at injection site). Horrible headache; Vomiting; Chills; Achy; Very lethargic; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer (subsequently medically confirmed) and describes the occurrence of HEADACHE (Horrible headache), VOMITING (Vomiting), CHILLS (Chills), PAIN (Achy) and LETHARGY (Very lethargic) in a 68-year-old female patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (batch nos. 003B21A and 0022M20A) for COVID-19 vaccination. No Medical History information was reported. On 19-Feb-2021, the patient received dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (unknown route) 1 dosage form. On 19-Mar-2021, received second dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) dosage was changed to 1 dosage form. On 28-Mar-2021, the patient experienced HEADACHE (Horrible headache), VOMITING (Vomiting), CHILLS (Chills), PAIN (Achy) and LETHARGY (Very lethargic). Symptomtext

The patient received their first of two planned doses of mRNA-1273 (lot number unknown) on an unknown date. On 14 Feb 2021, prior to the onset of the event, the patient received their second of two planned doses of mRNA-1273 (lot number: 022M20A) for prophylaxis of COVID-19 infection. When the patient received the second dose of the vaccine, the content of the vial was not milky white. The vaccine was not drawn from a vial, but the syringe was already filled. He stated the injection was like water, not white. He also reported that looking at the syringe, he noticed he may have gotten more than the 0.5 ml recommended dose (he then changed his mind and said he thought he got the right dose). Treatment information was not provided. The patient received both scheduled doses of mRNA-1273 prior to the event; therefore, the action taken with the drug in response to the event was not applicable. The event, content of the vial was not milky white/injection was like water, not white, was considered recovered/resolved on 14 Feb 2021.
