she has constant pain on that arm; her left arm swelled up and turned red for about a week; her left arm swelled up and turned red for about a week; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of PERIPHERAL SWELLING (her left arm swelled up and turned red for about a week), ERYTHEMA (her left arm swelled up and turned red for about a week) and PAIN IN EXTREMITY (she has constant pain on that arm) in a 78-year-old female patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (batch no. T022M20A) for COVID-19 vaccination. Concurrent medical conditions included Blood pressure high and High cholesterol. On 05-Mar-2021, the patient received second dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (unknown route) 1 dosage form. On an unknown date, the patient experienced PERIPHERAL SWELLING (her left arm swelled up and turned red for about a week) and ERYTHEMA (her left arm swelled up and turned red for about a week). an unknown date, the patient experienced PAIN IN EXTREMITY (she has constant pain on that arm). The patient was treated with NAPROXEN SODIUM (ALEVE) for Pain in arm, at a dose of 1 dosage form and PREDNISONE at a dose of 1 dosage form. At the time of the report, PERIPHERAL SWELLING (her left arm swelled up and turned red for about a week) and ERYTHEMA (her left arm swelled up and turned red for about a week) had resolved and PAIN IN EXTREMITY (she has constant pain on that arm) had not resolved. Concomitant medications included unspecified high blood pressure and high cholesterol pills. Patient went to see chiropractor and therapists but they did not help her in relieving the pain in the arm. This case was linked to MOD-2021-245624 (Patient Link).
