entire arm above elbos is again so red; so sick that evening; dry heaves; feverish; didn't eat well; I was feeling weak; very itchy; was just in bed all day next day; Dark bruise appeared; week later, lump 4 inches lower than the injection site; A spontaneous report was received from a healthcare professional concerning a 88-years-old patient who received Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine (mRNA-1273) and experienced events arm was sore for couple days, week later, lump 4 inches lower than the injection site, a reaction, dark bruise appeared, whole arm above the elbow was all red, itchy, bruise got quite huge, took a week to go away, entire arm above elbow is again so red, very itchy, so sick that evening, dry heaves, feverish, was just in bed all day next day, didn't eat well, i was feeling weak. The patient's medical history was not provided. Concomitant medications reported were Baby aspirin, Levothyroxine for drug use for unknown indication. On 28 Jan 2021, prior to the onset of the events the patient received first of two planned doses of mRNA-1273 (lot/batch: Lot# 030L20A) via unknown route in the left arm for prophylaxis of COVID-19 infection. On 26 Feb 2021, prior to the onset of the events the patient received their second of two planned doses of mRNA-1273 (lot/batch: Lot# 011A21A) via unknown route in the left arm for prophylaxis of COVID-19 infection. On 28 Jan 2021, the patient experienced the event(s) arm was sore for couple days. On 4 Feb 2021, the patient experienced the event(s) week later, lump 4 inches lower than the injection site, a reaction, dark bruise appeared, whole arm above the elbow was all red, itchy, bruise got quite huge, took a week to go away. On 26 Feb 2021, the patient experienced the event(s) entire arm above elbow is again so red, very itchy, so sick that evening, dry heaves, feverish, was just in bed all day next day, didn't eat well, i was feeling weak.
