lymph node swelling; fatigue; cold; Patient reported experiencing "Covid arm" - swelling of the arm approximately one week after; hurts sometimes and is visible; swelling up worsen/swelling and inflammation in left; inflammation in the left arm pit worsen, swelling of the whole left armpit the side of administration; fever of 103 degrees; chills; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of NASOPHARYNGITIS (cold), VACCINATION SITE REACTION (Patient reported experiencing "Covid arm" - swelling of the arm approximately one week after), PAIN IN EXTREMITY (hurts sometimes and is visible), INJECTION SITE SWELLING (swelling up worsen/swelling and inflammation in left) and INJECTION SITE INFLAMMATION (inflammation in the left arm pit worsen, swelling of the whole left armpit the side of administration) in a 40-year-old male patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (batch nos. 022C21A and 0039B21A) for COVID-19 vaccination. The occurrence of additional non-serious events is detailed below. No Medical History information was reported. On 15-Apr-2021, the patient received first dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) 1 dosage form. On 23-May-2021, received second dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (unknown route) dosage was changed to 1 dosage form. In May 2021, the patient experienced NASOPHARYNGITIS (cold), VACCINATION SITE REACTION (Patient reported experiencing "Covid arm" - swelling of the arm approximately one week after), PAIN IN EXTREMITY (hurts sometimes and is visible), INJECTION SITE SWELLING (swelling up worsen/swelling and inflammation in left), INJECTION SITE INFLAMMATION (inflammation in the left arm pit worsen, swelling of the whole left armpit the side of administration), PYREXIA (fever of 103 degrees), CHILLS (chills) and FATIGUE (fatigue). On an unknown date, the patient experienced LYMPHADENOPATHY (lymph node swelling). At the time of the report, NASOPHARYNGITIS (cold), PAIN IN EXTREMITY (hurts sometimes and is visible), PYREXIA (fever of 103 degrees), CHILLS (chills) and FATIGUE (fatigue) had resolved, VACCINATION SITE REACTION (Patient reported experiencing "Covid arm" - swelling of the arm approximately one week after) and LYMPHADENOPATHY (lymph node swelling) outcome was unknown and INJECTION SITE SWELLING (swelling up worsen/swelling and inflammation in left) and INJECTION SITE INFLAMMATION (inflammation in the left arm pit worsen, swelling of the whole left armpit the side of administration) had not resolved. DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS (normal ranges are provided in parenthesis if available): On an unknown date, Blood test: normal (normal) normal, The doctor did not see any lymphatic inflammation, abnormal, or anything out of the ordinary.. On an unknown date, Body temperature: 103 (High) fever of 103 degrees.
