Bell's Palsy; body aches; Pain in the head; Neck pain; Jaw pain; A spontaneous reportwas received from a 56-years-old, female patient who experienced jaw pain, neck pain, pain in the head, body aches and bells palsy. The patient's medical history was not provided. Products known to have been used by the patient, within two weeks prior to the event, included levothyroxine sodium, fluticasone propionate, loratadine, vitamin E, vitamin B, vitamin C, ibuprofen and tizanidine. On 26 Jan 2021, approximately fifteen days prior to the onset of the symptoms, the patient received their first of two planned doses of mRNA-1273 [Lot number 2039K20A] intramuscularly for prophylaxis of COVID-19 infection. On 10 Feb 2021, the patient experienced jaw pain, neck pain, head pain and body aches. On 14 Feb 2021, she was diagnosed with Bells palsy after going to urgent care . Treatment for the event included valaciclovir hydrochloride, salve for eye, steroid ear drop. Action taken with mRNA-1273 in response to the events was not provided.
