Everything was good the first day. The next morning, I had severe chills that lasted about 6 hours. During that time, I started getting a temp, the highest was 103.3. I called my doctor and she seemed convinced that it was something else because she hadn't seen that reaction before. I then had developed a headache. The fever took several days to go away. My doctor (via phone) told me to take Tylenol. I also had tingling in my right hand, extreme fatigue, joint stiffness and swollen lymph nodes, which remained swollen for at least a week. I was in bed for over 24 hours. It eventually started it get better after a few days. I also had an antibodies test before I got the vaccine and two days later I found out I had positive antibodies--and this was 6 months later (I had COVID in July). I had the same reaction with Dose 2.

I received 1st dose of Pfizer covid-19 vaccine on 12/26/2020 w/ no side FX. I received 2nd dose of Pfizer covid-19 vaccine on 1/16/2021 with no immediate side effects. On 1/26/2020 at 10:AM I started experiencing cold chills with uncontrollable shaking and fatigue. I took ibuprofen 800 mg and went to bed. I woke up on 1/27/2020 at 7:AM and felt fine.

My arm was extremely sore and you could feel the knot in it. I went to work out at the gym a few days after the shot and accidently hit my arm exactly where the shot was given on a door coat hanger. I almost fainted. I was in severe pain for days and the muscle in my arm has still not recovered. Its still sore three months later.

Symptomtext

lightheadedness; throat became scratchy; tongue felt thick; hives; itching; This is a spontaneous report from a contactable nurse (patient). A 35-year-old female patient received BNT162B2 (Pfizer-BIONTECH Covid-19 Vaccine; Lot number: E-1284), intramuscular in the right arm on 12Jan2021 at 14:00 at a single dose for COVID-19 immunization. Medical history included hypothyroidism and allergy to IV contrast. The patient was not pregnant at the time of vaccination, had no other vaccine within four weeks, and did not have COVID prior to vaccination. Concomitant medication included levothyroxine sodium (SYNTHROID; reported as other medication within 2 weeks). On 12Jan2021, less than 5 minutes after administration (also reported as at 02:15PM), the patient experienced lightheadedness, throat became scratchy, tongue felt thick, hives, and itching. These were resolved with Benadryl, Pepcid, Zyrtec, and IM steroids (also reported as PO and IM medications). It was reported that the events resulted in a doctor or other healthcare professional office/clinic visit. The patient has not tested positive for COVID post vaccination. Outcome of the events was recovered/resolved (also reported as recovering). Information on the lot/batch number has been requested.

BEGINNING AROUND NOON TIME BEGAN EXPERIENCING MINOR TO MODERATE FATIGUE. BY 7PM, MODERATE BODY ACHES AND MODERATE FATIGUE. BY 11PM, CHILLD, SIGNIFICANT BODY ACHES AND SIGNIFICANT FATIGUE. FRIDAY 1/15, CHILLS, BODY ACHES, FATIGUE, CHILLS, NO FEVER, MILD HEADACHE. SATURDAY 1/16, ONLY MILD SYMPTOMS AND OCCASIONAL MILD FATIGUE WITH HEAVY EXERTION. 1/17, NO NOTICEABLE SYMPTOMS. No actual adverse event. Vaccine was given IM in right buttock due to patients emaciated build with minimal muscle mass of deltoids in which IM to right buttock was given to ensure absorption. No rash, no allergic reaction, no skin changes. No observed or subjective adverse reaction. Asked to report on VAERS due to atypical injection site. Documented appropriately on both card,consent/screening form, and medical record at the skilled nursing facility.
