Extreme Hair Loss; This is a spontaneous report from a contactable consumer (patient, self-reported). A 58-year-old female patient received first dose of BNT162B2 (PFIZER-BIONTEC COVID-19 mRNA VACCINE, Solution for injection, lot number: EM9810 STEHS and expiry date was not reported), via an unspecified route of administration, in Arm Left, on 06Feb2021 at 11:45 PM (age at vaccination: 58 years), as a single dose for COVID-19 immunization at school or student health clinic. The patient was not pregnant at the time of vaccination. The patient's medical history included high B/P, high cholesterol, and kidney donor. The patient did not have any known allergies. Concomitant medications included unspecified medications. The patient did not received any other vaccine in four weeks. The patient was not diagnosed with COVID prior vaccination. The patient was not tested for COVID post vaccination. On 22Feb2021 at 07:00 AM, the patient experienced extreme hair loss. The patient did not receive any treatment for the event. Outcome of the event was unknown. Follow-up attempts completed. No further information expected.
