Acute joint pain. Hands/fingers/knees could not hardly bend. (constant throbbing pain). Acute pain lasted 24 hours - took Excedrin and used heat to try to get comfortable. Headache and body ache like the flu - lasted 24 hours. After that day, knees and hands/finger joints continued to ache (felt like needles sticking in the joints) continued off and on. Still having this on and off- but not quite as bad. Take Excedrin or Tylenol to help alleviate the pain.

Erythema Pain Swelling Pain in extremity

toe continues to be red and swollen; Moderate/severe pulsing pain in left big toe; This is a spontaneous report from a contactable consumer, the patient. A 40-year-old non-pregnant female patient received the first dose of BNT162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 mRNA VACCINE, lot number: PFIZER EP7533) via an unspecified route of administration in the left arm on 03Apr2021 at 16:00 (at the age of 40-years-old) as a single dose for COVID-19 immunisation. Medical history included toe injury on Sep2020 about 7 months ago. The patient had no known allergies. Concomitant medications included valaciclovir (VALACYCLOVIR) and PNR (unspecified) for unknown indication on unknown dates. Prior to the vaccination, the patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19. Since the vaccination, the patient had not been tested for COVID-19. The patient did not receive any other vaccines within four weeks prior to the vaccination. On 04Apr2021 at 03:30 the patient experienced moderate/severe pulsing pain in left big toe and toe was red and swollen. It was reported that after the first night of extreme pain, the pain had subsided, but the toe continues to be red and swollen, which it was not prior to the vaccine. No therapeutic measures were taken as a result of the reported events. The events did not result in doctor or other healthcare professional office/clinic visit, emergency room/department or urgent care. The clinical outcome of the events pulsing pain in left big toe and toe continues to be red and swollen were recovering at the time of this report. No follow-up attempts are needed. No further information is expected.

Chills Headache Nausea Pain in jaw

chills/ shivering and chattering teeth; shivering and chattering teeth to point where jaw hurt; severe headache; nausea; This is a spontaneous report received from a contactable consumer (patient). A 35-year-old female patient (not pregnant) received the second dose of BNT162B2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE, lot number: pfizerep7533) via an unspecified route of administration at right arm on 25Mar2021 at 10:30 (35-year-old at time of vaccination), at single dose, for COVID-19 immunization. The patient's medical history was reported as none. There were no known allergies to medications, food, or other products. Prior to vaccination, the patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19. There were no concomitant medications (other medications) the patient received within 2 weeks of vaccination. The patient previously received the first dose of BNT162B2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE, lot number: pfizeren6199) at left arm on 04Mar2021 at 19:45 (35-year-old at time of vaccination) at single dose, for COVID-19 immunization. The patient did not receive any other vaccines within 4 weeks prior to the COVID vaccine. Facility where the most recent COVID-19 vaccine was administered in pharmacy or drug store. Patient experienced chills at 3 AM following the vaccine, shivering and chattering teeth to point where jaw hurt, severe headache and nausea (all from 26Mar2021 03:00) for four days following 2nd dose vaccine. Adverse events did not result in emergency room visit or physician office visit. Seriousness was reported as no. Since the vaccination, the patient has not been tested for COVID 19. No therapeutic measures were taken as a result of the event. The outcome of the events was recovering. No follow-up attempts are needed. No further information is expected.

Fatigue Headache Swelling face Throat tightness

Symptomtext

Waited for the 15 minute observation period and felt fine, but while driving home (approximately 20 minutes after injection) I caught a glimpse of my face in the rearview mirror and noticed that it was swollen, specifically in the cheeks and under eye regions. When I got home 5 minutes later, it was more swollen and my throat was feeling tight, though not obstructing my breathing. I monitored the reaction and did not take any medications. About 30 minutes after the reaction began (50 minutes after injection), the facial swelling began to diminish and both the facial swelling and throat swelling went away within about an hour from the onset of the reaction, I was very tired and had a headache the rest of the day, which I understood to be more typical symptoms.

Symptomtext

Severe ringing in the ears. It started a couple of days after I got the vaccine. It's been a week and I'm scheduled to get my second shot on April 27th. If it persists I'll see the doctor.
