Symptomtext

12/12: seen in urgent care, rash(hives), wheezing -- > got albuterol and zyrtec, COVID test neg. Felt better until 12/14 -- > didn't take inhaler and had increased SOB, then chest pain/numbness -- >ER and per pt reprot had normal workup, urine, blood tests, CXR, EKG, sent home. 12/16 -- urgent care-- >ED, tired, lay down and had sharp pain in R upper back then R sided chest pain lasting 1 min folllowed by numbness of L arm and chest tightness, with mild SOB. It got better when he stood up and walked around, then came back 2 more times with sitting down. Numbness spread to legs. -- >ED COVID+ and Troponin elevated (0.1) admitted for myocarditis concern. Echo was normal, EKGs varied, and Troponin slowly trended down (not nL prior to discharge) and he still has chest pain although less severe (1/3/22 per mother). He did not receive remdesivir or monoclonal ab. He did have recurrence of his non-pruritic urticaria during this stay. This is most likely be due to COVID but given date of last vaccine I thought I'd submit. Mom is aware.
