Vaccination history included: Bnt162b2 (Dose 2, single, Batch/Lot No: EW0168, Location of injection: Arm Left, Vaccine Administration Time: 06:00 PM), administration date: 04May2021, when the patient was 29 years old, for Covid-19 immunization; Bnt162b2 (Dose 1, single, Batch/Lot No: ER8729, Location of injection: Arm Left, Vaccine Administration Time: 12:00 PM), administration date: 06Apr2021, when the patient was 29 years old, for Covid-19 immunization. The following information was reported: ANOSMIA (non-serious), AGEUSIA (non-serious) all with onset 04Nov2021 19:30, outcome "recovered" (Nov2021) and all described as "I lost all smell and most of my taste. This only lasted a couple of hours."; NAUSEA (non-serious) with onset 04Nov2021 19:30, outcome "recovered" (Nov2021), described as "slight nausea"; MYALGIA (non-serious) with onset 05Nov2021, outcome "recovered" (Nov2021), described as "bit of muscle pain". List of any other medications the patient received within 2 weeks of vaccination: Adderall, Nikki, Ibuprofen. Reported Event: About 2 hours after receiving my booster shot, I lost all smell and most of my taste. This only lasted a couple of hours; I couldn't taste my drink at 7:30pm but was able to kind of taste some French fries around 10pm. Full taste and smell was back when I woke up the next morning. My only other symptom was slight nausea the same day of injection (came on around the same time as the loss of taste) and a bit of muscle pain today (the next morning). Probably nothing but when I researched "can I lose taste after a booster" I got conflicting reports, so I wanted to help with data-gathering. Outcome of reaction/event at the time of last observation: Recovered. If treatment ae: No. Relevant medical history and concurrent conditions: ADHD, anemia. Relevant past drug history: intolerance to Percocet. Known allergies: intolerance to Percocet. Since the vaccination, has the patient been tested for COVID-19: No? Follow-up attempts are completed. No further information is expected.
