A red circle 2.5 to 3 inches across; it's itchy, not pain, right where the shot was; Big area which was large swollen and red; Itchy area at the injection site; Minimal soreness at site; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer (subsequently medically confirmed) and describes the occurrence of VACCINATION SITE PRURITUS (Itchy area at the injection site), VACCINATION SITE PAIN (Minimal soreness at site), VACCINATION SITE ERYTHEMA (A red circle 2.5 to 3 inches across; it's itchy, not pain, right where the shot was) and VACCINATION SITE SWELLING (Big area which was large swollen and red) in a 68-year-old female patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (batch no. 0146204) for COVID-19 vaccination. No Medical History information was reported. On 13-Jan-2021, the patient received first dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) 1 dosage form. On 13-Jan-2021, the patient experienced VACCINATION SITE PAIN (Minimal soreness at site). On 18-Jan-2021, the patient experienced VACCINATION SITE PRURITUS (Itchy area at the injection site). On 19-Jan-2021, the patient experienced VACCINATION SITE ERYTHEMA (A red circle 2.5 to 3 inches across; it's itchy, not pain, right where the shot was) and VACCINATION SITE SWELLING (Big area which was large swollen and red). On 25-Jan-2021, VACCINATION SITE PRURITUS (Itchy area at the injection site), VACCINATION SITE PAIN (Minimal soreness at site), VACCINATION SITE ERYTHEMA (A red circle 2.5 to 3 inches across; it's itchy, not pain, right where the shot was) and VACCINATION SITE SWELLING (Big area which was large swollen and red) had resolved. mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) dosing remained unchanged.
