Could not perform her minimal daily work and activities; Different kind of dizziness ( Jell-O head, tipsy feeling without head spinning); Tinnitus; Vestibular neuritis; Stiff neck; Migraine type of headache; Pressure in her brain; Headache; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of DECREASED ACTIVITY (Could not perform her minimal daily work and activities), FEELING DRUNK (Different kind of dizziness ( Jell-O head, tipsy feeling without head spinning)), TINNITUS (Tinnitus), VESTIBULAR NEURONITIS (Vestibular neuritis), MUSCULOSKELETAL STIFFNESS (Stiff neck), MIGRAINE (Migraine type of headache), HEAD DISCOMFORT (Pressure in her brain) and HEADACHE (Headache) in a 58-year-old patient of an unknown gender who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (batch nos. 013A21A and 0316204) for COVID-19 vaccination. No Medical History information was reported. On 29-Jan-2021, the patient received first dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (unknown route) 1 dosage form. On 26-Feb-2021, received second dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (unknown route) dosage was changed to 1 dosage form. Headache; She had concussion; Severe brain fog; Very very dizzy.; Nausea; in the beginning, she used to get migraine type of headache once a week; she could not perform her minimal daily work and activities; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of FEELING ABNORMAL (Severe brain fog), DIZZINESS (Very very dizzy.), HEADACHE (Headache), CONCUSSION (She had concussion) and NAUSEA (Nausea) in a 58-year-old female patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (batch no. 0316204) for COVID-19 vaccination. The occurrence of additional non-serious events is detailed below. No Medical History information was reported. On 29-Jan-2021, the patient received first dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (unknown route) 1 dosage form. On 08-Feb-2021, the patient experienced FEELING ABNORMAL (Severe brain fog) (seriousness criterion hospitalization) and DIZZINESS (Very very dizzy.) (seriousness criterion hospitalization). On 12-Feb-2021, the patient experienced HEADACHE (Headache) (seriousness criterion hospitalization) and CONCUSSION (She had concussion) (seriousness criterion hospitalization). In February 2021, the patient experienced MIGRAINE (in the beginning, she used to get migraine type of headache once a week). On an unknown date, the patient experienced NAUSEA (Nausea) (seriousness criterion hospitalization) and IMPAIRED WORK ABILITY (she could not perform her minimal daily work and activities). At the time of the report, FEELING ABNORMAL (Severe brain fog), DIZZINESS (Very very dizzy.), HEADACHE (Headache), CONCUSSION (She had concussion), NAUSEA (Nausea) and IMPAIRED WORK ABILITY (she could not perform her minimal daily work and activities) had resolved and MIGRAINE (in the beginning, she used to get migraine type of headache once a week) had not resolved. DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS (normal ranges are provided in parenthesis if available): On 14-Feb-2021, Blood test: normal (normal) normal. On 14-Feb-2021, Computerised tomogram: normal (normal) Normal. mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Unknown) dosing remained unchanged. Concomitant medications were not provided by the reporter. Treatment information was not provided. Ten days after the first dose, Caller developed severe brain fog and started very very dizzy. On the following day ( 12Feb2021), patient developed headache and thought she had concussion. On 14Feb2021, Patient went to the emergency room due to her dizziness where they performed CT scan and blood work, and everything came normal. Patient stated that she stayed there in ER for few hours and they gave medications for nausea and dizziness. Patient mentioned all these symptoms lasted for 2 months straight and during that time she could not perform her minimal daily work and activities. After 2 months, she felt 85 to 90 % better for a month. Based on the current available information and temporal association between the use of the product and the start date of the events, a causal relationship cannot be excluded. Sore arm; Vomiting; A spontaneous report was received from a consumer concerning a 77-years-old patient who received Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine (mRNA-1273) and experienced events sore arm, vomiting. The patient's medical history was not provided. No relevant concomitant medications were reported. On 16 Feb 2021, prior to the onset of the events the patient received their first of two planned doses of mRNA-1273 (lot/batch: 0316204) intramuscularly for prophylaxis of COVID-19 infection. On 16 Feb 2021, the patient experienced the event(s) sore arm. vomiting. No treatment information was provided. Action taken with mRNA-1273 in response to the events was not reported.
