Rash; Shooting pain in neck; Room is spinning looks like I amriding a merry go round; Dizzy; Light headed; Low heart rate followed by spurts of quick, off rhythm beats; Numbness in arms and hands; This is a spontaneous report from a contactable healthcare professional, the patient. A 40-year-old non-pregnant female patient received the first dose of BNT162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 mRNA VACCINE; Lot Number: EM8731) via an unspecified route of administration in the left arm on 06May2021 at 11:15 (at the age of 40-years-old) as a single dose for COVID-19 immunisation. Medical history included celiac disease and allergic to penicillin allergy, gluten, chocolate and tree nuts. Prior to vaccination, the patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19. The patient did not receive any other vaccine within four weeks prior to the COVID vaccine. Concomitant medications were not reported. On 07May2021 at 16:30, the patient experienced rash, shooting pain in neck, room was spinning- looks like the patient was riding a merry go round, dizzy, light headed, low heart rate followed by spurts of quick, off rhythm beats and numbness in arms and hands. On 07May2021, the patient underwent heart rate rest and the result was decreased heart rate. The events did not result in doctor or other healthcare professional office, clinic visit, emergency room, department or urgent care. Therapeutic measures were not taken as a result of the events. Since the vaccination, the patient had not been tested for COVID-19. The clinical outcome of the events rash, shooting pain in neck, room was spinning- looks like the patient was riding a merry go round, dizzy, light headed, low heart rate followed by spurts of quick, off rhythm beats and numbness in arms and hands was not recovered at the time of this report. No follow-up attempts are needed. No further information is expected.
