Twelve days after receiving the second Pfizer COVID-19 shot I had come down with a case of oral shingles. All of this was on the left side of my face: Swelling of lower lip, swelling of tongue, hardness to tongue, ulcers in mouth and tongue, numbness to lips, tongue, and gums, sensitivity to hot and cold on teeth, redness on face, some small outbreaks of oozing around chin, sensitivity of head, face, neck and shoulders all on that left side.

- I went to the dentist first because I thought that this might be dental related. He took three x-rays of the left side of my teeth and found no abscess. He then thought it might be oral shingles and sent me to my PCP. They agreed with his analysis without any additional testing.
