my right arm went numb like it went to sleep; a fewsharp pains in fingers went away, odd shooting pain in my right fingers comes and goes as well; This is a spontaneous report received from a contactable reporter(s) (Consumer or other non HCP). The reporter is the patient. A 49 year-old female patient (not pregnant) received bnt162b2 (BNT162B2), administered in arm right, administration date 29Aug2021 13:00 (Lot number: BC3180) at the age of 49 years as dose 2, single for covid-19 immunisation. The patient had no relevant medical history. There were no concomitant medications. Vaccination history included: Bnt162b2 (Dose Number: 01, Lot number: EW0191, Administration time: 01:00 PM, Vaccine Location: Left arm), administration date: 03Aug2021, when the patient was 49 years old, for Covid-19 Immunization. The following information was reported: VACCINATION SITE HYPOAESTHESIA (non-serious) with onset 29Aug2021 13:15, outcome "not recovered", described as "my right arm went numb like it went to sleep"; PAIN IN EXTREMITY (non-serious) with onset 29Aug2021 13:15, outcome "not recovered", described as "a fewsharp pains in fingers went away, odd shooting pain in my right fingers comes and goes as well". Therapeutic measures were not taken as a result of vaccination site hypoaesthesia, pain in extremity. Additional information: Patient has no known allergies. Prior to vaccination, the patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19; and since the vaccination, has not been tested for COVID-19. The patient did not receive any other vaccines within 4 weeks prior to the COVID vaccine. The patient did not receive any other medications within 2 weeks of vaccination. It was reported that minutes after the shot was given half of patient's right arm went numb like it went to sleep, a few sharp pains in fingers went away. The numbness kept coming and going and the odd shooting pain in her right fingers comes and goes as well. Sometimes together sometimes not and only in the right arm. Patient was hoping it would go away but it continued and was annoying. Events did not result to both emergency room visit and physician office visit. No follow-up attempts are possible. No further information is expected.
