I also had a breakthrough COVID infection in August 2021; I also had a breakthrough COVID infection in August 2021; This is a spontaneous report received from a contactable reporter(s) (Consumer or other non HCP). The reporter is the patient. A 41-year-old male patient received BNT162b2 (BNT162B2), on 18Mar2021 as dose 1, single (Lot number: EN6199), on 07Apr2021 as dose 2, single (Lot number: ER8732) and on 27Apr2022 as dose 3 (booster), single (Lot number: F35682) at the age of 41 years for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history included: "Known allergies: Latex" (unspecified if ongoing). The patient's concomitant medications were not reported. The following information was reported: DRUG INEFFECTIVE (medically significant), COVID-19 (medically significant) all with onset Aug2021, outcome "unknown" and all described as "I also had a breakthrough COVID infection in August 2021". The patient underwent the following laboratory tests and procedures: SARS-CoV-2 test: Unknown results, notes: If covid tested post vaccination: Yes. Facility type vaccine was Doctor's office/urgent care, No other vaccine in four weeks. The patient experienced Bell's Palsy. Vertigo and face numbness. Stated that I also have episodes of excessive sweating and flushing. 1st episode started between 40-60 days after 2nd vaccine in 08Apr2021. It was getting better then boom Bell's Palsy is back. Again 40-50 days after booster shot on 28Apr2022. I've also developed red sores on the edge of my lips. I've never had either of these things before in my life. Until after the vaccine. I also had a breakthrough COVID infection in Aug2021.Adverse event resulted in doctor or other healthcare professional office/clinic visit, Emergency room/department or urgent care, Disability or permanent damage. Patient was not recovered, Ae treatment included Prednisone and Valtrex.
