Got vaccine Nov 2, morning. Got sick from vaccine, as normal, Nov 2 evening. Had PTSD-based nightmare night Nov. 2. This is unrelated, and a commonish thing for me: essentially PTSD-based panic attack to a nightmare that takes 8-12 hours to subside. Heart pounding. Mid-day Nov 3, odd uncomfortable feeling in chest - almost a vague pain. Start being able to feel heartbeat, but not like pressure, rather like something that has been slightly sprained or bruised feels like when moved or touched - as if inflamed or sensitive. Also started to feel pain in arm as if panic attack even though panic attack was subsiding and later when panic attack was gone, and sudden occasional pressures in chest. Fearing it to be myocarditis or pericarditis, I took 600mg of ibuprofen. Took 400mg ibuprofen each 8 hrs for next 2 days. The inflamed/sensitive heart feeling dissipated steadily until gone by Nov 5, but the odd pressures in the chest got more intense and more frequent. Best description I could find was Heart Palpitations. These palpitations turn out to be an arrhythmia: my heart suddenly doubles in speed for a few beats or up to several seconds, occasionally longer. On November 6th, consulted doctor unrelatedly because had appointment from prior for ADHD and anxiety medication.Began taking prescribed lisdexamphetamine. Later would begin buspirone. Told Dr about palpitations I think some time from Nov.10th, give or take a few days, because it wasn't subsiding (I had hoped to wait it out). 16 November EKG, shows nothing because palpitations are too intermittent to catch in 7 second block. 20 November: Get Holter monitor. Holter monitor results are still pending. Palpitations continue to present, not quite as frequent or nor typically as severe as at peak within first week - 2 weeks, but still unnerving, and sometimes increasing in frequency again. Have not found any pattern or cause to the increases, nor anything that decreases it. Seems pretty random. Again, neither lisdexamphetamine and buspirone have any affect on it - neither increasing nor decreasing it. Also told employee who was at the Dept. of Health about the palpitations on 04 december 2023, asking how to report the adverse event to this very database.
