A 59-year-old female patient received third dose of bnt162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 mRNA VACCINE, Solution for injection, Batch/Lot Number: EU0171) via an unspecified route of administration on 17Aug2021 (at the age of 59-year-old) at dose 3 (booster), single for covid-19 immunisation. Medical history included stomach cancer from Apr2020 to 02Oct2020 (Verbatim: stomach cancer), surgery on her lungs (stated that she had surgery on her lungs and hospitalized prior to vaccines). Concomitant medications were not reported. Other health history included I had cancer and I had my stomach pulled up and my esophagus made. I don not have cancer now and that her HCP told her to get the third dose I have lung issues where they collapsed lung and done my surgery and I was in the hospital for a week. Upon discharge, the caller was instructed to get her third vaccine dose. Patient previously received first dose of Moderna (at the age of 59-year-old) (Batch/lot number: 036A21A), administered in right arm on 22Mar2021 and received second dose of Moderna on an unspecified date, both the doses for Covid-19 Immunization. On an unspecified date in 2021 the patient experienced slight headaches, can't hardly walk on it, right hip pain, on 17Aug2021 sick to my stomach, throwing up, had the moderna series and got pfizer covid vaccine for the third shot and on 18Aug2021 feeling weak, on 19Aug2021 pain in my joints and bones/joint pain bad in her knees/ joint pain bad in her ankles/joint pain bad in her knuckles up to her fingers, pain in my joints and bones. Patient is a cancer patient. Patient got the Pfizer Covid 19 vaccine - third shot last month. Patient is a consumer (59 y/o female) who is reporting adverse events after having had the 3rd dose of Pfizer-Biontech Covid19 vaccine back on 17Aug2021. She received the Moderna product as her primary vaccination series and reports I didn't have any problems with that. Patient reports I have been sick to my stomach since I got it, and have been throwing up she is also been having joint pain bad in my knees, ankles, knuckles and going up into my fingers and today and yesterday the bone between my knee and hip going up aches real bad, I cannot hardly walk on it and that she is been laying here with a heating pad on my bones where it is hurting on my knee. She also re-ports having slight headaches but they had not been having very bad headaches but this past Sat-urday I had a bad one and had to go to the clinic and get a shot for it. Caller also notes "I've been weak, not sure if that has anything to do with it but I have been weak since I have had it and reiterated having joint pain, feeling weak, headaches and feeling sick to my stomach. Her major concerns are the joint pain. Caller would like to know how long these effects typically last and what to do for it. Stated that she had Moderna for the original series. Stated that since having the third dose Pfizer Covid vaccine that she is sick to her stomach, threw up, joint pain bad in her knees, ankles, knuckles up into her fingers, headaches on and off but this past Saturday she had to got to the clinic to get a shot to treat the headache. Stated that she is weak. Stated that this has been going on since 17Aug2021. Stated that she had hip pain in her joint and sometimes hard to walk with hip and knee. Stated that the bone on right side on outside hurting real bad between the knee that is hurting and the joint pain in her hip. Wanted to know if there was anything that she could do for the joint pain. Stated that the agent stated that she would have to speak with her healthcare provider. Stated that she had surgery on her lungs and hospitalized prior to vaccines. Stated that she had lung problems and had cancer in her esophagus prior to the vaccines. Stated that she had weak immune system before vaccine. Stated that she had a flu shot on 15Sep after the other vaccines. Does not provide an , lot number or expiration date. Event details: Stated that the joint pain bad in her ankles started three weeks ago. Stated that she had joint pain bad in her knuckles up to her fingers that started three days ago. Stated that the pain is from her knuckles up to her fingers on her right side and in left her knuckle and left thumb. Stated that the knee pain goes away in her left and stays in her right but that she still has it in both knees. Stated that she is weak off and on. Treatment: Stated that they gave her some sick stomach medicine to take. Stated that she had no treatment for the joint pain or being weak and has not been to a doctor yet.
