After vaccines, patientt developed redness to the site on both arms, but 48 hrs later he had large whelp to left upper arm (Kinrix); 72 hrs had hives all over his body. Bendryl did not help patient, was started on oral steroids Nov 17th

Symptomtext

No addtional AE; Inadvertently concomitantly administered PROQUAD and VARIVAX; This spontaneous report was received from a medical assistant referring to a 1-year-old patient. The patient's pertinent medical history, drug reactions or allergies and concomitant medications were not provided. On 03-FEB-2022 the patient was vaccinated with measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (Oka-Merck) virus vaccine live (rHA) (PROQUAD) 0.5 (lot number U015481, expiration date 13-NOV-2022 ; vaccination scheme, route of administration, and anatomical location of vaccination were not reported) and varicella virus vaccine live (oka/merck)(VARIVAX) 0.5 (lot number T028305, expiration date 20-AUG-2022) for prophylaxis. On same day, medical assistant reported that measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (Oka-Merck) virus vaccine live (PROQUAD) and varicella virus vaccine live (oka/merck) (VARIVAX) were inadvertently concomitantly administered to a one-year-old patient (inappropriate schedule of product administration). No product quality complaint (PQC) and no additional adverse event (AEs) (no adverse event) was reported.

The patient's concomitant medication, pertinent medical history and drug reactions/allergies were not reported. On 07-JAN-2022, the patient was vaccinated with measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (oka-merck) virus vaccine live (PROQUAD) (0.5 milliliter, lot # U015481, expiration date 13-NOV-2022, route was not reported) for prophylaxis (Inappropriate age at vaccine administration). No additional adverse events (AEs) was reported. No product quality complaints was reported. No further details was provided.

PROQUAD that underwent a temperature excursion was admnistered; No additional adverse effects reported; This spontaneous report was received from a nurse and refers to a patient of unknown age and gender. The patient's pertinent medical history, drug reactions or allergies, or concomitant medication were not reported. On an unknown date, the patient was vaccinated with measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (oka-merck) virus vaccine live (rHA) (PROQUAD) lot number U015481 with expiration date 13-NOV-2022 (dosage, route of administration and anatomical location were not reported) for prophylaxis, which underwent a temperature excursion, at 14 to 46?F (33F) for 8 hours 0 minutes and 0 seconds (Product storage error).
