Burning sensation Pain of skin Rash Throat irritation

Symptomtext

About 2 hours after the vaccine, the person reports that she had a burning stinging sensation to her face, and developed a rash. She reports this is spread to her chest, and she has some itching and scratching in her throat. She denies any trouble breathing, she has not had any vomiting or diarrhea. Person presented to the ED at 2018. Person took Benadryl at home and was provided prednisone in the Emergency Department. Person was discharged home.

Symptomtext

5mmx5mm redness around injection site that lasted a week before getting better. Area was red and itchy. a day after vaccine was administered. Patient came back a week after vaccination and requested assistance to submit a VAERS report on her behalf and area looks like fading away and healing properly. No signs of infection.

She states that the patient has not reported any symptoms; female patient was administered Varivax 0.5 ml subcutaneous and ProQuad 0.5 ml subcutaneous on 20Feb2023; This spontaneous report was received from healthcare professional and refers to a 30-year-old female patient. The patient's concurrent conditions, pertinent medical history, and drug reactions or allergies were not reported. Concomitant therapies included sterile diluent. On 20-FEB-2023, the patient was inadvertently administered with measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (oka-merck) virus vaccine live rHA (PROQUAD) 0.5 milliliter, lot #W020549, expiration date: 26-DEC-2023, administered subcutaneously (SQ); and with varicella virus vaccine live (oka/merck) (VARIVAX) 0.5 milliliter, lot #U015684, expiration date: 18-MAY-2023, administered SQ; both for prophylaxis (Overdose). The patient had not reported any symptoms. This issue was noticed upon after discharge of the patient, and she was not notified.
