No temp excursions reported for the product and no symptomatic side effects reported for the patient.; This spontaneous report was received from Healthcare Business Partner (HBP) and refers to a patient of unknown age and gender. There was no information about the patient's concurrent conditions, concomitant therapies, or medical history provided. On 16-MAR-2023, the patient was inadvertently vaccinated with measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (oka-merck) virus vaccine live (PROQUAD) subcutaneous injection, albumin status has been verified as recombinant human albumin (rHa), lot #U028180, expiration date was reported as 08-MAR-2023 (expired product administered), for prophylaxis (strength, dose, anatomical location, and route of administration were not provided); and sterile diluent solution for injection/infusion, lot #U028180 has been verified to be invalid, expiry date was reported as 08-MAR-2023 (strength, dose, route of administration, and indication were not provided). On 07-SEP-2022, the patient was vaccinated with improperly stored dose of measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (oka-merck) virus vaccine live recombinant human albumin (rHA)(PROQUAD) subcutaneous injection, 0.5 milliliter, lot #U028180, expiration date: 08-MAR-2023, administered for prophylaxis (strength, and route of administration were not provided) (Product storage error). On 24-AUG-2022, administered dose of vaccine experienced the temperature excursion of 23.73 degrees Celsius for 28 hours 45 minutes. No adverse event reported. Cellulitis Erythema Feeling hot Hypersensitivity Swelling

Symptomtext

Left arm extreme redness, warmth, swelling started within 1 hour of injection. Rapidly spread within 48 hours. MD examined stated likely either hypersensitivity reaction or cellulitis. Benadryl given, sx started to resolve.
