Rash maculo-papular

Symptomtext

Maculopapular rash, generalized, including trunk, arms, legs, palms, soles, neck. Started the evening of the 5th day, and lasted for 9 days, then resolved. No fever, seizures, or other adverse events occurred. Child did well, and fully recovered from the rash. Follow-up office visit on 8/8/2022. Infectious Disease Specialist consult on 8/10/2022

No additional AE reported; HCP reported PROQUAD was administered to patient after a temperature excursion. Date of administration was Mar 23, 2022. No further information provided. This is patient one of three, cross reference AE cases: 02202238 and 02202256. No additional AE; This spontaneous report was received from a nurse and refers to a patient of unknown age and gender. The patient's medical history, concurrent conditions, concomitant medications and drug reactions/ allergies were not reported. On 23-MAR-2022, the patient was vaccinated with an improperly stored (-8.3 Celsius degrees, time frame: 1 hour, 1 minute and 0 seconds) measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (oka-merck) virus vaccine live, recombinant human albumin (rHA) (PROQUAD) subcutaneous injection, once, lot number U029320 was found to be valid, expiration date: 19-MAR-2023 (strength, exact dose, route of administration and injection site were not reported) for prophylaxis (product storage error). Patient had no adverse effects or symptoms from this dose; A dose of PROQUAD and VARIVAX were both given to a patient on the same day; This spontaneous report has been received from a medical assistant regarding to a patient of unknown age and gender. The patient's concurrent conditions, medical history, drug/allergy reactions, and concomitant therapies, were not reported. On an unknown date (also reported as 17-JUN-2022), the patient was vaccinated with measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (oka-merck) virus vaccine live (rHA [recombinant human albumin]) (PROQUAD) (strength and route of administration not reported) (lot number U029320 with expiration date 19-MAR-2023) administered at a dose of 0.5 mL, once, for prophylaxis and varicella virus vaccine live (oka/merck) (VARIVAX) (strength and route of administration were not reported) (lot number U020238 with expiration date 28-JUN-2023) administered at a dose of 0.5 mL, once, for prophylaxis. The medical assistant reported that on the day of vaccination, both doses of measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (oka-merck) virus vaccine live (rHA [recombinant human albumin]) (PROQUAD) and varicella virus vaccine live (oka/merck) (VARIVAX) were administered to the patient (overdose). The patient did not have adverse effects (no adverse event) or symptoms from this dose.

No additional AE reported; Patient was administered improperly stored PROQUAD Incorrect product storage; This spontaneous report was received from a medical assistant referring to a patient of unknown age and gender. Information about pertinent medical history, drug reaction/allergy and concomitant medication was not provided. On an unknown date, measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (oka-merck) virus vaccine live (PROQUAD) experienced temperature excursion with 5.612 Fahrenheit degrees for 30 minutes. There was no previous temperature excursion. This morning on 28-MAR-2022, the patient was vaccinated with the improperly stored measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (oka-merck) virus vaccine live (PROQUAD) (lot # U029320, expiration date 19-MAR-2023; strength, dose, route of administration and anatomical location were not reported) for prophylaxis (product storage error).
