Symptomtext
Patient received ProQuad MMRV vaccine at 10:30, within about 3-5 minutes, patient was unsteady on feet and then vomited, patient was laid on exam table, patient became extremely diaphoretic and disoriented, hives began appearing on right side of face, arms were very flushed, small hives began appearing on trunk. Patient was very tremulous, awake but not responding to questions. Oxygen Saturation was noted to 97%, unable to obtain BP at that time due to position. Paramedics arrived within about ten minutes, they obtained blood pressure at which time they noted patient was hypotensive. They proceeded to give epinephrine, and possibly IM benadryl (unsure). Patient was awake and alert with symptoms subsiding within a few minutes, Paramedics took patient to Emergency Department.
