flushy rash; Initial information received on 30-Mar-2021 regarding an unsolicited valid non-serious case from a physician via Information (reference number :00541842). This case involves patient of unknown demography who experienced flushy rash (rash) after receiving INFLUENZA USP TRIVAL A-B SUBVIRION NO PRESERVATIVE VACCINE [FLUZONE]. The patient's past medical history, medical treatment(s), concomitant medication(s), vaccination(s) and family history were not provided. In 2010, the patient received a dose of suspect INFLUENZA USP TRIVAL A-B SUBVIRION NO PRESERVATIVE VACCINE (lot U3579AA and expiration date :Jun-2011) via unknown route in an unknown administration site for prophylactic vaccination. In 2010, the patient developed a non-serious flushy rash (rash), 2 hours after the administration of vaccine. Caller stated patient reported the reaction at time of event. Caller was with the questions on accessing previous years package insert for FLUZONE from 2010 so he can compare products to a Covid (coronavirus disease) vaccine, due to the patient being apprehensive about receiving the Covid vaccine. No laboratory data reported. It was not reported if the patient received a corrective treatment. At time of reporting, the outcome was unknown for the reported event.
