Received Rotateq #1 on 09--2023. Had persistent vomiting 8 hrs later and resolved after 12 hours Received Rotateq #2 11-21-23. Had projectile vomiting and diarrhea 24 hrs after which resolved after 24hours On both occasions, vomiting and diarrhea were NOT accompanied by fever exposure to other ill persons spread of disease to family members persistent symptoms Child does not attend day care and had no other outside contacts prior to these 2 vaccine dates

Symptomtext

Patient received her 3rd Rotateq vaccine on 11/29 and around 9pm she began having episodes of projectile vomiting. She had 13 episodes of vomiting. Parents took her to the ER on 11/30 at 10:00pm. She was dxed w/ a small bowel intussusception. She was given IV fluids. Intussusception resolved w/o treatment in the ER.

The nurse was administering the vaccine (vaxelis) and the top of the barrel broke off as she finished pushing the plunger in.
