Symptomtext
RN was called to room after pt experienced syncope post vaccination. Felt nauseous - emesis bag was provided. Pallor noted. Normal cognition. Pt was placed supine with knees lifted. Vitals checked and rechecked. BP noted to be low. Pt rested for a few minutes then was able to come to a sitting position without issue. Verified vitals returned to normal. Skin color improved. Pt reported he was feeling much better. Pt was then able to stand without issue - then ambulated normally. Pt's mother felt comfortable with going home after pt had improved. Of note - pt/parent would like to move forward with only doing 1 immunization at a time. He has done well with that plan previously.
