On 29Oct2021 they administered 15 Moderna COVID-19 booster half doses to patients; Received booster from expired vial; Aches; Fever; chills; Headache; This spontaneous case was reported by a physician and describes the occurrence of PAIN (Aches), PYREXIA (Fever), CHILLS (chills), HEADACHE (Headache) and ACCIDENTAL UNDERDOSE (On 29Oct2021 they administered 15 Moderna COVID-19 booster half doses to patients) in a 43-year-old male patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (batch no. 038021A) for COVID-19 vaccination. The occurrence of additional non-serious events is detailed below. Co-suspect product included non-company product INFLUENZA VACCINE injection for an unknown indication. Concurrent medical conditions included High cholesterol since 04-Jan-2017. On 29-Oct-2021 at 11:00 AM, the patient received third dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) 1 dosage form. On an unknown date, the patient started INFLUENZA VACCINE (Intramuscular) 1 dose. On 29-Oct-2021, the patient experienced ACCIDENTAL UNDERDOSE (On 29Oct2021 they administered 15 Moderna COVID-19 booster half doses to patients) and EXPIRED PRODUCT ADMINISTERED (Received booster from expired vial). On an unknown date, the patient experienced PAIN (Aches), PYREXIA (Fever), CHILLS (chills) and HEADACHE (Headache). On 29-Oct-2021, ACCIDENTAL UNDERDOSE (On 29Oct2021 they administered 15 Moderna COVID-19 booster half doses to patients) and EXPIRED PRODUCT ADMINISTERED (Received booster from expired vial) had resolved. At the time of the report, PAIN (Aches), PYREXIA (Fever), CHILLS (chills) and HEADACHE (Headache) had resolved. For mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular), the reporter did not provide any causality assessments.
