Symptomtext

On the afternoon of March 2, 2021, the baby breastfed and then was being held in a sling worn by her mother. Mother notes she was on a video call for work and thought the baby had fallen asleep. A short time later (unsure of exact timing) she noticed that the baby was not breathing, appeared blue, and was bleeding from her nose. Mother called 911 and began CPR that was continued by EMS and then hospital emergency department personnel. Baby was found by EMS to be apneic, cyanotic, and severely bradycardic. Baby was brought to the hospital and treated with multiple rounds of epinephrine, IV fluids, dextrose. She was intubated. She developed seizure activity and was started on Keppra. Baby subsequently transported to Hospital PICU.

Symptomtext

She awoke around midnight with shivering/shaking and "clenching" of muscles for about 17 minutes in duration. EMS was on scene when the episodes finally stopped. Pt. was then very sleepy afterwards. Her temperature on arrival of EMS was 99.7, and during transport increased to as high as 104.6. ED visit was unremarkable, she returned to her usual baseline and was discharged to follow up here today. She has been doing tylenol suppositories every 4hr. Pt. had received vaccines earlier in the day on 3/18/21 at her 18mo WCC. She was delayed on vaccines, so received 2nd Hep A, DTaP-IPV/HIB, and varicella No prior history of seizures or febrile seizures No known sick contacts, no daycare

Diarrhoea Pyrexia Vomiting

Symptomtext

Extreme Vomiting for 30 hours after his 4 month immunizations. Started 6 hours after administration and vomited over 15 times. The had 2-3 large liquid stools with no blood or mucus. Fever of 101 the first day and then resolved.
