Symptomtext

Patient received Pentacel and PCV13 for 15 month well visit on 06/17/2021 around 6pm. The morning of 6/18 , she had fever noticed at 7 AM, followed by seizures for ~ 8-10 minutes. It involved all her body, no asymmetry. 911 was called, had midazolam administered intranasal and through IV. No more episodes since arriving at the ER. Diagnosed with febrile seizure and sent home.

Patient developed petechial rash on neck around 6pm after receiving the vaccines. Patient had a lab draw and mom will continue to monitor.

Symptomtext

11 month old was administered Kinrix; This case was reported by a other health professional via call center representative and described the occurrence of inappropriate age at vaccine administration in a 10-month-old female patient who received DTPa-IPV (Kinrix) (batch number uj434aaa, expiry date 17th May 2022) for prophylaxis. Co-suspect products included dtpa-ipv vaccine pre-filled syringe device (Kinrix Pre-Filled Syringe Device) injection syringe for prophylaxis. On 22nd February 2022, the patient received Kinrix .5 ml and Kinrix Pre-Filled Syringe Device. On 22nd February 2022, unknown after receiving Kinrix and Kinrix Pre-Filled Syringe Device, the patient experienced inappropriate age at vaccine administration. On an unknown date, the outcome of the inappropriate age at vaccine administration was unknown. This report is made by GSK without prejudice and does not imply any admission or liability for the incident or its consequences. Additional details reported were as follows: The 10 month old patient received Kinrix, which led to inappropriate age at vaccine administration. The consent to follow up was given.
