Symptomtext

Patient called to report an adverse reaction he had almost 3 months ago. Patient stated he started to develop an elevated bump ( 1/4 inch raised) which was 3 inches in diameter a few days after receiving a flu shot. The area was not red, painful or itchy and he did not seek medical attention. Only after a couple of months did he see a medical doctor. According to the patient, the doctor believed he had a hematoma and gave him instructions to treat. Even after following the doctor's directions he did not see any improvement and contacted the pharmacy to report and find more information.
