Symptomtext
Patient presented to clinic on 3/3/22. She had developed a red rash on her trunk and abdomen, on exam was consistent with petechiae. She also had one nosebleed, vaginal bleeding in diaper during the week, and developed a bleeding laceration on her upper and lower lip after falling. She also had right forehead bruising. Patient sent to the emergency room.

- On 3/3/22, patient admitted to hospital. Initial platelets were 23 but dropped to 5 the next day, Hb was 9.7 and ANC was 1.25. Patient treated by the hematology team, and discharged after platelets began to uptrend after IVIG treatment. Of note, per the hematology team, CMV IgM was also positive on 3/4/22.
