Patient presented 1 week after vaccine with enlarging pericardial effusion, underwent pericardiocentesis and drain placement. He developed fevers, chest pain, and EKG findings consistent with pericarditis.

Symptomtext

Patient woke up feeling pain in her left arm, the day after vaccine administration. Pt experienced chills, arm was red, red and swollen in the large area around injection site. For 7 days pt didn't seek medical attention but since it didn't get any better she visited doctor. Diagnosed with cellulites and prescribed antibiotics on 04/15/2022. Fully recovered now.

Symptomtext

Yellow Fever (YF-Vax) was given incorrect route of administration. It was given as IM instead of SubQ. Pharmacist informed and apologized to the patient. Also, pharmacist provided information that there was no need for the patient to repeat the dose. Adverse effects have not been reported by the patient yet.
