Hour a receiving the vaccine her arm was in alot of pain that she couldn't move it, body became to be in severe pain, her face became paralyzed her arm and legs. She called the paramedic and they told her it look like she was having a stroke and she was rushed to the ER. She was dx with having GBS

Symptomtext

Overwhelming body aches and muscle pain, migraine, fever, nausea. Awoke exactly 12 hours after administration with symptoms. Symptoms made it difficult to move or open eyes due to light sensitivity and pain. Eventually took ibuprofen which helped alleviate headache. Symptoms abated after 24 hours

Symptomtext

Few minutes after patient received vaccine the technician heard her say "I'm not feeling very good" and rushed to her side. She was looking very pale and we proceeded to check her blood pressure and lean her back in the chair. The patient noted feeling nauseated but did not vomit. BP was 103/80 ~4:05p and then 123/90 ~4:25p. An Epipen was retrieved but was not used since patient was alert. Talked to the patient continually. Asked colleague to call 911. Team leaders were assisting within a few minutes. Patient's Mom arrived within 30 minutes. EMS took over an hour to arrive. By the time Mom had arrived, patient was already feeling better. We gave her ice water and a Pepsi. Patient had only had chips and some candy for food today. Patient ultimately felt okay when she left. She walked out on her own.

child moved her arm and a small amount of the liquid came out of injection site; Initial information regarding an unsolicited valid non-serious case was received from pharmacist and physician via Medical Information (Reference number- 00809341) and transmitted to Sanofi on 12-Oct-2021. This case involves a 5-year-old female child patient moved her arm and a small amount of the liquid came out of injection site (injection site extravasation) while receiving INFLUENZA QUADRIVAL A-B VACCINE [FLUZONE QUADRIVALENT]. Relevant medical history, medical treatment(s), vaccination(s) concomitant medication and family history were not provided. On 12-Oct-2021, the patient received 0.5ml (total) dose of suspect INFLUENZA QUADRIVAL A-B VACCINE (lot: UT7330MA and expiry date: 30-Jun-2022) (Frequency = once) (Strength = standard) via intramuscular route in the left arm for prophylactic vaccination. On 12-Oct-2021 the child patient moved her arm, and a small amount of the liquid came out of injection site (injection site extravasation) same day following the administration of INFLUENZA QUADRIVAL A-B VACCINE. It was reported "Caller (PharmD) (Doctor of pharmacy) requesting information regarding re-administration of FLUZONE QUADRIVALENT (Prefilled); caller states the facility administered a dose to a child (age 5/female) and as the injection was being done. Caller states that the guardian of the patient does not think that re-administration/re-vaccination is in order, but PharmD would like verification; all demographics obtained by MIA (manufacturing and importation authorization)". No relevant laboratory data was provided. It was not reported if the patient received a corrective treatment for the event. At time of reporting, the outcome was not resolved for the event.

Symptomtext

Redness, swelling, itching, pain and rash occurred around injection site on left arm where Covid vaccination was administered. Area is ~6 inches in diameter currently. Symptoms started 4-5 hours after vaccination was received but diameter of rash/redness enlarged over the next several days. Symptoms have not subsided at this point. I did not have a rash/redness with the first and second dose that I received on 12/21/20 and 1/12/21. I receive the flu shot annually and have never had a reaction.

Symptomtext

pt developed a red rash on her chest. she states she gets like this with every flu shot. she normally takes benadryl beforehand but had forgotten to take some prior. I had her sit for 45 minutes to 1 hour and had given her benadryl. she felt much better after 10-15minutes after taking the benadryl and the rash/redness went away. followed up with pt the next day and she felt fine not concerns.
