No adverse event has taken place with the extra influenza vaccine given. Contacted the patient today at 11:09 AM. Patient received an influenza vaccine on 12/6/2021 when seen by her provider; however, the patient came back two days later at a different clinic for she had scheduled herself in a nurse visit to receive the COVID Moderna booster vaccine and influenza vaccine. Patient was given both vaccines that day (nurse unaware of the office visit on 12/6/2021). However, I should have reviewed the patient's immunization vaccine list before giving the influenza injection as I had reviewed her COVID vaccine list.
