Heavy period; Bad headache; This is a spontaneous report from a contactable consumer, the patient. A 41-year-old female patient received the first dose of BNT162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 mRNA VACCINE; lot number: UTMC/EN6208) via unspecified route of administration in the left arm on 22Mar2021 on 10:45 (at the age of 41-year-old) as a single dose for COVID-19 immunisation. The patient did not receive any other vaccines within 4 weeks prior to the COVID vaccine. Prior to vaccination, the patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19. The patient had not been tested for COVID-19 since having the vaccine. The patients concomitant medications included aspirin (MANUFACTURER UNKNOWN) and prenatal vitamin (MANUFACTURER UNKNOWN) for unknown indication. On 22Mar2021, the patient experienced bad headache every late afternoon/early evening since the patient got vaccinated. The headache was so bad that ibuprofen didn't even help. Day after the vaccine, the patient experienced abnormally heavy periods with no warning. Therapeutic measure included treatment with ibuprofen for the event headache. The patient did not receive any treatment for the event of heavy period. The adverse event did not result in a visit to the doctors or other healthcare professional office/clinic visit, and emergency room/department or urgent care. The clinical outcome of the events headache and heavy periods were not recovered at the time of this report. No follow-up attempts are needed. No further information is expected.
