Symptomtext
Six days after injection patient began having heart palpitations at random times throughout the day/night. Palpitations often occurred at rest and occasionally would awaken patient in the middle of the night. Patient monitored blood pressure throughout duration of events and blood pressure was in normal ranges. Blood pressure did increase by 5-10 points on both systolic and diastolic, but still within acceptable ranges. Palpitations continued for approximately seven weeks before dissipating and eventually ceasing.

- Patient first saw primary care within a few days of event start and followed up with cardiologist a week later. Nuclear stress test was conducted with no significant abnormalities detected. Patient is a healthy 56-year-old (at time of vaccine) who works out five days a week doing high intensity interval training for one hour each day. Patient believes the cardiac event was related to the Covid vaccine.

- No known allergies to medication or food; being treated for allergies to dust mites and grass via weekly allergy shot for two years prior to vaccination with no adverse reactions.
