Symptomtext
Pt had throat tightness about 5 mins after administration. She was closely monitored and given water and two tabs 25 mg diphenhydramine HCl. The pt was responsive but her throat was feeling tight. Continued to monitor. After about twenty minutes, patient was having difficulty speaking and was pointing to her throat. 0.30 mg of epinephrine was given to the patient. Pt appeared to do better after this and EMS was called. The pt was assessed by EMS and taken to hospital for further monitoring.
