Did not squeeze the muscle before administering the vaccine; pain in the arm /a lot of pain in upper quad of my arm; Cannot lift arm over head; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of PAIN IN EXTREMITY (pain in the arm /a lot of pain in upper quad of my arm), HYPOKINESIA (Cannot lift arm over head) and WRONG TECHNIQUE IN PRODUCT USAGE PROCESS (Did not squeeze the muscle before administering the vaccine) in a 63-year-old female patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (batch no. 003421A) for COVID-19 vaccination. The patient's past medical history included No adverse event (No medical history reported.). On 15-Mar-2021, the patient received first dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (unknown route) 1 dosage form. On 15-Mar-2021, the patient experienced WRONG TECHNIQUE IN PRODUCT USAGE PROCESS (Did not squeeze the muscle before administering the vaccine). In March 2021, the patient experienced PAIN IN EXTREMITY (pain in the arm /a lot of pain in upper quad of my arm) and HYPOKINESIA (Cannot lift arm over head). On 15-Mar-2021, WRONG TECHNIQUE IN PRODUCT USAGE PROCESS (Did not squeeze the muscle before administering the vaccine) outcome was unknown. At the time of the report, PAIN IN EXTREMITY (pain in the arm /a lot of pain in upper quad of my arm) and HYPOKINESIA (Cannot lift arm over head) outcome was unknown. The action taken with mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Unknown) was unknown.

Right arm red mark half the size of your palm, hot to the touch and raised where vaccine was given. Called the pharmacy and they said it?s Covid Arm and to ice it and it should be back to normal within 24 hours.

Symptomtext

About 5 days after my vaccine, began ringing sensation in my right ear and it has been there ever since. They did an audiology test and also an MRI to rule out tumor and it was normal. As today I still have the ringing sensation to my right ear.
