Fainted; Left rib cage injured; Aches in the bones; Ill; Fell face first into the floor, fell on my hands; Bruised his hand; Face injured; Left hip and knee is injured; Nausea; Aches in the joints; This spontaneous case was reported by a non-health professional (subsequently medically confirmed) and describes the occurrence of SYNCOPE (Fainted) and CHEST INJURY (Left rib cage injured) in an 85-year-old male patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (batch nos. 042821A and 003821A) for COVID-19 vaccination. The occurrence of additional non-serious events is detailed below. The patient's past medical history included COVID-19 (Patient spent 50 days in the hospital) from October 2020 to 04-Dec-2020. On 24-Mar-2021, the patient received first dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) 1 dosage form. On 21-Apr-2021, received second dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) dosage was changed to 1 dosage form. On 22-Apr-2021, the patient experienced SYNCOPE (Fainted) (seriousness criterion medically significant), CHEST INJURY (Left rib cage injured) (seriousness criterion medically significant), BONE PAIN (Aches in the bones), ILLNESS (Ill), FALL (Fell face first into the floor, fell on my hands), CONTUSION (Bruised his hand), FACE INJURY (Face injured), JOINT INJURY (Left hip and knee is injured), NAUSEA (Nausea) and ARTHRALGIA (Aches in the joints). At the time of the report, SYNCOPE (Fainted), CHEST INJURY (Left rib cage injured), BONE PAIN (Aches in the bones), ILLNESS (Ill), FALL (Fell face first into the floor, fell on my hands), CONTUSION (Bruised his hand), FACE INJURY (Face injured), JOINT INJURY (Left hip and knee is injured), NAUSEA (Nausea) and ARTHRALGIA (Aches in the joints) outcome was unknown. DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS (normal ranges are provided in parenthesis if available): On 22-Apr-2021, Cardiac function test: normal (normal) normal (heart was ok). No relevant concomitant medications were provided. On 22 Apr 2021, patient experienced aches in his joints and bones, he was becoming ill and had nausea which triggered emergency and needing to go to bathroom. He was heading to the bathroom, he fainted and fell face first into the floor. He injured his face, fell on his hands. He had bruised his hand. His left rib cage and left hip and knee was injured. He went to the Emergency Department where he was told his heart was ok, he was not delirious and consciousness was ok. He stated, it has now been a week and the bruising is still there and the stiches will be coming off tomorrow. No treatment information was provided. Action taken with mRNA in respect to the events was not applicable. Based on the current available information and temporal association between the use of the product and the start date of the events, a causal relationship cannot be excluded. Cramping of both hands, unable to move fingers lasting 2 to 4 minutes. Burped almost throwing up twice. Possible rapid heartbeat causing rapid breathing. Was asked to and did stay 30 to 45 minutes. Was better within 10 minutes of injection. At home experienced being very cold some mild soreness of arm. Temperature of 96 at 3:15 pm. Temp back to normal next day.

My reaction to the first dose of Mederna was pretty normal to what has been described. I got a headache within an hour, aches, musle pain then slept for 24 hours straight!! then i started having chest pains. I thought it was due to the EXTREME stress I was enduring. plus I wanted to avoid hospitals at ALL costs!! then the horrid fatigue hit with blurred vision. I have had a fatgue problem for many years but this is almost to the point of unbearable. I am a single Mom of 3 and caregiver for my elderly parents 83&84 yr. old parents and my mentally ill adult sister. My second dose was almost the same as the first dose. But it seemed to enhance all of my symtoms...Stronger heart pains,chills, painful aches & pains. The fatigue.... that word does not even come close to what i am feeling....totally wiped out like my heart too tired. So I am trying to hang on and nothing helps. Iwent in on Friday 11/12/2021 and got my booster and flu shot. Headache started almost immediatly. I had my family with me they got theirs too. Home by 1:00 and asleep almost immedatly. Saturday All of my joints ,muscles my entire being was in EXCRUATING pain!!I laid there just crying thinkinking I am going to have to go to hospital.... couldnt stand it!!! My son brought me water and ibuprophen.it helped a little bit it hurt to swolow.breathe,keep my eyes open,movement of any kind ... i felt like my body turned to glass. Like my skeleton was falling out of my body,Excruciatin! In bed Sunday lesser aches but extremly painful joints and glands..Misery!! still in bed today better except for left underarm going to left breast back to myneck. my reactions seemed very extreme compared to what has been described so i thought i could help others by reporting my experience. i got my flu shot at the same time as my booster dont know the name of it or the maker..was not provided. i still feel miserable...beyond miserable...

He then asked for the vaccine and Dr. told him thats not how it works.... after a while they swooped in and moved usto a diff room still shared. dr. told us dont bother quarentining because everyone has it up here and if we have been in a store then we have been exposed.the ones like that man are the un vaccinated. We lost our home due to the pandemic and my husband flipped out at the start of the Pandemic he abanded me.so we are in a whole new unfamiliar community, So No way i am going into a hospital.I am TERRIFIED!!

Nodules formed in my lymphnodes on the left side of my body. The first appeared two days after the first injection below my left clavical, the second appeared the day of my second injection above my left clavical - both nodules are still present six months later, are not iverly hard, and moveable. An ultrasound was performed and I was told that they look like "normal" lymph nodes though you can feel the knots and they could be seen on the ultrasound screen. Additionally, in July, we were exposed to "something" (we think the Delta variant), even though we were all vaccinated and masked, and had a breakthrough that put us on our backs for a week. Notified my doctors office of symptoms, didn't get in to see her until End of August. Since then I have had numbness in my left hand/ arm, phantom smells, loss of or disgusting tastes, brain fog, and the list goes on and on. I've had an EMG to determine the cause of the nerve damage (it's muscle wasting in the entire appendage), but due to teh status of the overwhelmed healthcare system have received no definative diagnosis.

Same day symptoms included Headache, injection site soreness, fatigue and muscle aches and pain through out body. Symptoms lasted 2 days; On 5th day, started feeling nauseous and 8pm started feeling acute abdominal pain with increased intensity. 8:30pm abdominal pain continued with pressure in back and chest. Then wife took me to ER. Exams (CT Scan, bloodwork and vitals) were taken but was all normal. At 2am abdominal pain went away but discomfort in abdominal area continued. I was released at that time. On 7th day had follow up with primary care physician and they reviewed documentation from Hospital and determined that I experienced symptoms from covid vaccine.

On both shots, one month apart I experienced Covid arm. Swelling, itchiness and gland swollen in arm pit. On shot 2 received this week, I experienced fatigue, chills and severe-migraine-like headache the day after. Symptoms began April 6th at 2:30 am and persisted all day. Lessened headache on Wednesday but experienced fever like sweat at 4:00 am. Thursday morning at 12:30 am awakened fully drenched with sweat-hair dripping and clothing needed changed. Headache gone.

It started with a fever of about 102 degrees all night. The next day and half I had a lesser fever and chills. The 3rd day on a Monday I was calling my boss and when I looked at my computer, I noticed my vision was impaired in my right eye. When it didn't improve that's when I went to the doctor. She referred me to a Specialist (Eye Associates) who said I had sudden onset of wet macular degeneration. I then had a phone consultation with my Internalist who said I should report it to the CDC that the high fever could have kicked off the inflammatory condition in my right eye. The doctor also said the same thing. I'm now getting injection in my eye every few weeks that doesn't make it any better just keeps it from getting worse. I had COVID on Dec. 7, 2021, which was after my 2nd dose. I had a pretty high fever 101 but not as high as when I got the vaccine. Coughing, chills, muscle aches, brain fog. Fatigue and brain fog when on for a long time. And wasn't better till the end of January. A month after I got well my toes developed red painful spots- I got them first on my left foot and subsided a week later. Then got them on my right foot and that's subsided.

Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine EUA A few days after the first vaccine I started getting dizzy. It just happened a couple of times on days 3 and 4, but it is it now day 7 and it has been getting worse each day. Nothing dire, but definitely feeling a little vertigo whenever I switch positions. It can be when I first stand up, lean forward, or even just switch from one side to the other or to my back when lying down.

Felt fine on the day of vaccine (March 8) but during the following night flu-like aches, pains, shivering and lethargy set in. Woke up at 2.30am feeling like I'd been knocked down by a bus and shivering uncontrollably. Really rather like a HUGE flareup of my Fibromyalgia. Tylenol didn't really help. Tossed and turned until 6am at which point I decided a cup of tea would be nice, especially as I couldn't stop shivering. Plus some stronger pain meds (Tylenol #3, which I usually take at bedtime to help get full and restful sleep). Put day clothes on for warmth and returned to bed. Finally able to get back to sleep around 9am. Day 2: spent most of the day in bed trying to get/keep warm in order to overcome the extreme whole-body pain. Only got up to get hot drinks and to eat something. Brain fog meant I couldn't concentrate on doing anything. Slept a lot. Day 3: Feeling MUCH better. My arm was a bit swollen and painful at the site of the shot. The body still felt like it had been in a boxing match and I was a tad sluggish, but the aches and pains were nowhere near as bad as the day before. Day 4: Most of the strong adverse symptoms were gone, except for milder pain and brain fog. Day 5: Now almost back to what constitutes 'normal' for me. Back to regular life but with plenty of rest as I find myself getting tired after moderate exertion.

Immediately after the vaccination, I felt dizzy, slightly nauseous, and like a rush of adrenaline. That lasted about 30 minutes. A little later I started to feel sick and it lasted for about 30 hours. Symptoms included headache, lethargy, aches and pains. Then for about three days I seemed normal. However, starting about mid-week I noticed that I smelled smoke all of the time. I kept searching for sources of smoke or trying to find something that might smell similar to smoke. It has now been about five days since the phantosmia started and I am still smelling smoke. It hasn't gotten any worse, but it hasn't gotten any better either. It is starting to drive me crazy. I know that smell and taste issues can be a symptom of Covid and this made me realize that perhaps the vaccine could also cause such symptoms. That's when I decided I should probably file this report in case others were having a similar side effect. I'd also love to know when it will go away and if the second dose is going to make it worse.

There is an itchy rash all over my body, including legs, arms, belly, and back. It started the day after my shot on my legs and arms. The next day it had spread to my back and hips/thighs, and the day after my belly and chest. The rash is still evident on all parts, but the itchiness is starting to subside on my lower legs and arms. I have been treating with calamine lotion, ice packs, and benadryl or the itch. The sun and heat seems to exasperate it.

Vaccine administered 3/19/2021 @ 1:45 pm. Notices redness in face and neck at 3:45 pm, Notices rash on face,neck, upper chest, arms, back, stomach, and hips at 9:30 pm. Contacted on call doctor at 10:05 pm. Treatment plan implemented at 10:15 pm of 50 mg benadryl every 6 hrs for 24 hrs and 20 mg pepcid 2 x day for 24 hours. Monitor through night for respiratory or other side effects. Outcome to be determined.

Patient tested positive for Covid after more than 15 days of receiving second dose of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine; COVID-19; This spontaneous case was reported by a patient and describes the occurrence of VACCINATION FAILURE (Patient tested positive for Covid after more than 15 days of receiving second dose of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine) and COVID-19 (COVID-19) in a 40-year-old male patient who received mRNA-1273 (Spikevax) (batch nos. 047B21A and 003821A) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. Patent had no acute illnesses at the time of vaccination and upto one month before. It was unknown if patient had any chronic long-standing health conditions at the time of vaccination or not. On 18-Mar-2021, the patient received first dose of mRNA-1273 (Spikevax) (unknown route) 1 dosage form. On 19-Apr-2021, received second dose of mRNA-1273 (Spikevax) (unknown route) dosage was changed to 1 dosage form. On 03-Nov-2021, the patient experienced VACCINATION FAILURE (Patient tested positive for Covid after more than 15 days of receiving second dose of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine) and COVID-19 (COVID-19). At the time of the report, VACCINATION FAILURE (Patient tested positive for Covid after more than 15 days of receiving second dose of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine) and COVID-19 (COVID-19) outcome was unknown. DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS (normal ranges are provided in parenthesis if available): On 03-Nov-2021, SARS-CoV-2 test: (Positive) test done in hospital. For mRNA-1273 (Spikevax) (Unknown), the reporter did not provide any causality assessments. No concomitant medications were reported. The patient's race was reported as North American Indian/Inuit/Meitis. No treatment medications were reported. Company comment- This vaccination failure spontaneous case concerns a 40-year-old male patient with no medical history reported, who experienced the non-serious unexpected event COVID-19 approximately 6 months after receiving a second dose of mRNA-1273 vaccine. First and second doses of mRNA-1273 vaccine were administered in an appropriate schedule of vaccination. Patient tested positive for COVID-19 test. No further clinical information was provided for medical reviewing. The benefit risk relationship of mRNA-1273 vaccine is not affected by this report. This case was linked to MOD-2023-730391 (Patient Link).

I experienced a burning feeling inside my penis for about a week with frequent urinating. I had the weird feeling while I was urinating. This feeling ended in a sudden erectile dysfunction and total lack of sexual feeling. It didn't occur to me whether this could be related to the vaccination. I told my primary physician that I have had a problem with my sexual feeling. He suspected it could be related to stress. I visited also a Urologist who referred me to another Urologist that I am going to visit next week. Recently I suspected that the vaccine could be a cause when I traced it back to the time this issue happened and I was vaccinated.
