Symptomtext

Patient admitted to Hospital 5/30/22 with progressed shortness of breath and weakness with bilateral lower leg edema. Vital signs Stable. O2 Sat at 96% on 2L of O2. COVID +. noted ground glass opacities bilaterally throughout lung fields. Patient given Ceftriaxone and Lasix and started on RPBC transfusion. Patient is fully vaccinated with Moderna and 2 Pfizer boosters. last Pfizer booster dose 5/16/2022. no additional information on outcome known. please contact Hospital for any additional details.

Symptomtext

Initially the patient experienced flu like symptoms for several days that has progressed to more serious issues. Patient states that she has developed severe pain, swelling in head, neck, back, hamstrings and shins, as well as nerve inflammation. Patient is being treated by her physician with steriods. Patient has had an MRI and being treated by a Chiropractor as well. All of this started after the second dose of Moderna Covid 19 vaccine per patient.

hadn't walked too much; shot made me feel like was having another stroke; stiff; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of MUSCULOSKELETAL STIFFNESS (stiff), GAIT DISTURBANCE (hadn't walked too much) and FEELING ABNORMAL (shot made me feel like was having another stroke) in a 71-year-old female patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (batch no. 0044B21A) for COVID-19 vaccination. Concurrent medical conditions included Stroke. Concomitant products included PREGABALIN for Nerve pain, ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM, EZETIMIBE (STATIN EZ), AMITRIPTYLINE HYDROCHLORIDE (AMITRIPTYLENE) and DIAZEPAM for an unknown indication. On 21-Apr-2021, the patient received first dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) 1 dosage form. On 21-Apr-2021, the patient experienced MUSCULOSKELETAL STIFFNESS (stiff). On an unknown date, the patient experienced GAIT DISTURBANCE (hadn't walked too much) and FEELING ABNORMAL (shot made me feel like was having another stroke). At the time of the report, MUSCULOSKELETAL STIFFNESS (stiff), GAIT DISTURBANCE (hadn't walked too much) and FEELING ABNORMAL (shot made me feel like was having another stroke) outcome was unknown. The action taken with mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) was unknown. No treatment medications were reported.
