The morning of the 8th I had a stuffy nose I took an Alka-Seltzer. I went into work. By the afternoon, I felt awful, I was aching, really bad headache, and I felt cold also. I went home and went to bed. I decided to go through the weekend and the symptoms did not go away. I did an e-visit with my doctor and she prescribed an antibiotic. She advised to do the COVID-19 test. I received my chart notification and they told me I was positive for COVID-19. I was on quarantine for 10 days. I also had pressure in my ears. I also lost my sense of taste and smell. I felt awful. The first few days I felt awful and then the symptoms stared to get better over time. Now I have this lingering cough that will not go away, but it not productive.
