Left hand continues to hurt; Sciatica pain in her left leg flared up; Sharp pain at the bottom of her tummy; lingering tummy ache; General weakness; Brain fog; Dizziness; Chills; Slept most of the day; Left hand started to feel weak; Slight pins-and-needles feeling; This is a spontaneous report received from a contactable consumer. The reporter is the patient. A 40-year-old female patient received BNT162B2 (BNT162B2), administered in arm left, administration date 26Apr2021 15:45 (Lot number: FB-ER8735) at the age of 40 years as dose 2, single for COVID-19 immunisation. Relevant medical history included: "Hand weakness" (unspecified if ongoing); "Pinched nerves in her spine" (unspecified if ongoing). Concomitant medication(s) included: SPIRONOLACTONE; OCELLA; YAZ; DEXEDRINE. Vaccination history included: BNT162B2 (DOSE 1; Lot Number: F-EP7533; 11:30 AM), administration date: 02Apr2021, when the patient was 40 years old, for COVID-19 immunization, reaction(s): "Left hand started to feel weak", "Slight pins-and-needles feeling", "Sharp pain at the bottom of her tummy". Therapeutic measures were not taken as a result of muscular weakness, paraesthesia, pain in extremity, sciatica, abdominal pain lower, asthenia, feeling abnormal, dizziness, chills, somnolence. Additional Information: The patient had had occasional hand weakness caused by pinched nerves in her spine in this hand (left) for two decades. The patient was not aware of any allergies. Prior to vaccination, the patient was not diagnosed with COVID-19. The patient had other unspecified medications received within 2 weeks of vaccination. The patient did not receive any other vaccines within 4 weeks prior to the COVID-19 vaccine. The most recent COVID-19 vaccine was administered in a hospital facility. On 26Apr2021, the patient's left hand started to feel weak with a slight pins-and-needles feeling within a half-hour of the vaccine; much the same way but with higher intensity than after the first shot. On 27Apr2021, the left hand continues to hurt. Sciatica pain in her left leg flared up as well. Also, the patient developed a sharp pain at the bottom of her tummy. Much the same way, but with higher intensity, than following the first shot. New side-effect included general weakness, brain fog, dizziness, and chills. The patient slept most of the day. No fever. On 28Apr2021, the patient felt fine with the exception of lingering tummy ache. The patient was asking if the company would be testing a booster vaccine for the SA B.1.351 variant in the near future. If so, she would like to participate. The patient spent the majority of the pandemic to date abroad. The patient was back in her home country now, but she was planning a 3-month long trip back to the other country at the end of Jul2021. Since the vaccination, the patient has not been tested for COVID-19. No follow-up attempts are needed.
