I received my first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine on 4/30/21. I had began my menstrual cycle that week on 4/26. I track every cycle with an app on my phone, and they are almost always 4-5 days long. My cycle that week lasted 8 days, without any other abnormalities. I received my second does of the Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine on 5/21/21. My cycle on 5/23 was a typical 5 days. My cycle on 6/20 however, was not. On day 2, 6/21, I had an episode of extremely heavy bleeding that lasted around 3 hours. Along with the heavy bleeding, I passed 4 large blood clots, around the size of a tampon. I felt light headed, crampy, and exhausted. I sought medical care through my regular doctor the next day, who sent me for labs which came out all normal. I also went in for a well woman exam the following week, which also came back normal.
