Symptomtext

Hives for 4 months; headache; Blurry vision; Double vision; dark area off the right side peripherally; This spontaneous case was reported by a patient and describes the occurrence of VISION BLURRED (Blurry vision), DIPLOPIA (Double vision), SKIN DISCOLOURATION (dark area off the right side peripherally), URTICARIA (Hives for 4 months) and HEADACHE (headache) in a 41-year-old male patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (batch nos. 004C21A and 028A21A) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. Co-suspect product included non-company product TOZINAMERAN (PFIZER BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE) for an unknown indication. Concomitant products included MODAFINIL for an unknown indication. On 31-Mar-2021, the patient received first dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (unknown route) 1 dosage form. On 29-Apr-2021, received second dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (unknown route) dosage was changed to 1 dosage form. On an unknown date, the patient received third dose of TOZINAMERAN (PFIZER BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE) (unknown route) 1 dosage form. On 23-Oct-2021, the patient experienced VISION BLURRED (Blurry vision), DIPLOPIA (Double vision), SKIN DISCOLOURATION (dark area off the right side peripherally) and HEADACHE (headache). On an unknown date, the patient experienced URTICARIA (Hives for 4 months). At the time of the report, VISION BLURRED (Blurry vision), DIPLOPIA (Double vision), SKIN DISCOLOURATION (dark area off the right side peripherally), URTICARIA (Hives for 4 months) and HEADACHE (headache) had not resolved. For mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Unknown), the reporter did not provide any causality assessments. No treatment medication provided This case was identified as part of a retrospective clean-up activity where certain emails received in the Moderna mailbox were missed to be booked-in

All over body hives; blurry vision; double vision; headache; This is a spontaneous report received from contactable reporter(s) (Consumer or other non HCP). The reporter is the patient. A 41 year-old male patient received bnt162b2 (BNT162B2), administered in arm right, administration date 2021 (Lot number: F2590) at the age of 41 years as dose 3 (booster), single for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history was not reported. Concomitant medication(s) included: MODAFINIL. Vaccination history included: Moderna (Dose Number: 2, Batch/Lot No: 004C21A, Location of injection: Arm Right, known allergies :Moderna Covid 19 Vaccine - hives for 4 months), administration date: 29Apr2021, when the patient was 41 years old, for COVID-19 immunization, reaction(s): "hives"; Moderna (Dose Number: 1, Batch/Lot No: 028A21A, Location of injection: Arm Left), administration date: 31Mar2021, when the patient was 41 years old, for COVID-19 immunization, reaction(s): "hives". The following information was reported: URTICARIA (non-serious) with onset 23Oct2021 09:30, outcome "not recovered", described as "All over body hives"; VISION BLURRED (non-serious) with onset 23Oct2021 09:30, outcome "not recovered", described as "blurry vision"; DIPLOPIA (non-serious) with onset 23Oct2021 09:30, outcome "not recovered", described as "double vision"; HEADACHE (non-serious) with onset 23Oct2021 09:30, outcome "not recovered", described as "headache". The events "all over body hives", "blurry vision", "double vision" and "headache" were evaluated at the emergency room visit. Therapeutic measures were not taken as a result of urticaria, vision blurred, diplopia, headache. No follow-up attempts are possible. No further information is expected.
