The patient called the pharmacy on Tuesday 3/9/2021 stating that they had an upset stomach, had not eaten, had not been able to take many fluids, and was feeling very poor ever since their covid vaccine was administered on Sunday 3/7/2021. It was recommended that the patient seek medical attention with either their PCP or urgent care and that they try to push fluids even if they didn't feel like drinking. Patient agreed to this plan. The patient then called the pharmacy again on Thursday 3/11/2021 stating that they had not gone to the doctor and still had not eaten or taken many fluids since their vaccine on Sunday 3/7/2021. They were now experiencing chills, body aches, continued stomach pains, and new onset pain around their kidneys. It was again reinforced that the patient needed to seek medical attention as soon as possible and push fluids. Upon follow up with the patient on 3/12/2021 the patient reported that they went to the emergency room on 3/11/2021 and received two large bags of fluids for rehydration. Patient was able to eat a small snack and was feeling slightly better but still ill. Another follow up call was scheduled to be made on Saturday 3/13/2021 to check on the patient's progress.
