He received Moderna Vaccine on 02/16/2021 and 03/16/2021. No reactions developed after two vaccinations. 7.7.21: Patient developed difficulties of breathing one week and presented to ER on 7/7/2021 and has been hospitalized since 07/07/2021. Presented with cough, chest pain, and shortness of breath. Diagnosed with pneumonia 7.11.21: discharged home.

Caller reported his own AE; Soreness in his arm; Blood in his urine; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of VACCINATION COMPLICATION (Caller reported his own AE), PAIN IN EXTREMITY (Soreness in his arm) and BLOOD URINE PRESENT (Blood in his urine) in an 84-year-old male patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (batch nos. 007N20A and 012A21A) for COVID-19 vaccination. No Medical History information was reported. On 08-Feb-2021, the patient received first dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) 1 dosage form. On 08-Mar-2021, received second dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (unknown route) dosage was changed to 1 dosage form. On 08-Mar-2021, the patient experienced PAIN IN EXTREMITY (Soreness in his arm) and BLOOD URINE PRESENT (Blood in his urine). On an unknown date, the patient experienced VACCINATION COMPLICATION (Caller reported his own AE). Mild Nausea; arm was red from the injection site down to just above my elbow; soreness; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of PAIN (soreness), NAUSEA (Mild Nausea) and VACCINATION SITE ERYTHEMA (arm was red from the injection site down to just above my elbow) in a 75-year-old female patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (batch no. 007N20A) for COVID-19 vaccination. The patient's past medical history included No adverse event. On 01-Feb-2021, the patient received first dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) 1 dosage form. On 01-Feb-2021, the patient experienced PAIN (soreness). On 02-Feb-2021, the patient experienced NAUSEA (Mild Nausea) and VACCINATION SITE ERYTHEMA (arm was red from the injection site down to just above my elbow). At the time of the report, PAIN (soreness), NAUSEA (Mild Nausea) and VACCINATION SITE ERYTHEMA (arm was red from the injection site down to just above my elbow) outcome was unknown. The action taken with mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular) was unknown. No Concomitant medication information was provided. No treatment information was provided by the reporter. On 01 Feb 2021, patient got her 1st dose of the Moderna vaccine. Patient reported soreness on the1st day. Symptomtext

After the first vaccine the patient went to the hospital on Jan 25th bc she had pain her abdomen. She was given a CT scan that showed kidneys and stomach. Some of the blood clots was removed and patient was placed on blood thinners. In April patient started having problems with her kidneys. She was having a lot of protein in her Urine. Her antibodies are attacking her kidneys.

Symptomtext

When I first woke up, I felt like I had a chill. It didn't last very long. That happened a couple of times during that period after the vaccine. I don't recall having anything else, really. The site was a little sore and that only lasted a couple of days. I did not see any rashes at the time. Later on down the road, I began to experience these areas around my chin kind of like acne. They were like cysts. I still have them, but I don't know why I'm having them. I am not sure if it is because of the vaccine. I did not address my symptoms with my doctor when I saw my doctor. I see my doctor every 3 months for a check up. I thought I just needed to exfoliate my skin.

Patient had tenderness and pain at the time of the vaccine on 1/31/21. On 2/1/21, patient woke with severe headache in morning which persisted throughout the day; also had fatigue and body aches, found it hard to move arm , the site was inflamed and swollen . Patient napped all day. Today, 2/2/21 patient's left arm pain is mild and getting much better; headache, body aches, and fatigue have gone away.
